The Story Behind the Piece:

Someone dear to me shared a vision they had during meditation: they saw me standing alone in a garden, radiating happiness. At the time, I was nowhere near that feeling. I was wrestling with a life-altering decision; one that brought months of upheaval, sorrow, and immense grief. 

In the early stages of In My Garden, something shifted. I realized it was a self-portrait; a way to help myself rise again and feel whole. The tree you see stands tall and unapologetic, rooted in certainty, holding her own with quiet attitude. She knows exactly who she is.

When we tend to our inner garden, we rise. When we listen to our intuition, we flourish.

His vision makes sense to me now. It wasn’t a reflection of who I was in that difficult moment, but an omen of who I would become on the other side. This brings me great inner peace.
