Originals
All original paintings are finished with a protective varnish that guards against dust, airborne residue, and harmful UV rays that can cause color fading over time. To clean the surface of your painting, gently wipe with a soft, non-abrasive microfiber cloth — no need for cleaners or sprays. If you're moving the piece to a different location in your home, always protect the corners of the canvas, wood panel, or frame during handling.
Art Prints
All art prints are shipped in a clear protective sleeve to shield the surface from dust, fingerprints, and humidity. For best preservation, leave your print in its sleeve until you're ready to place it behind glass in a frame with mat. This helps prevent warping caused by moisture in the air, keeps the paper clean and flat while matting prevents the print from sticking to the glass from the inside over time. Always handle prints with clean, dry hands or gloves, and avoid placing unframed prints in direct sunlight or damp environments.

ABOUT THE SERIES
The Feeling of Water explores the juxtaposition between sleepy surf outposts and coastal metropolises: places where retro surf culture collides with bohemian flair and edgy streetwear. I’m drawn to the laid-back cool factor that defines these communities, channeling it through sun-faded color, gestural mark-making, and rhythmic shapes like surfboards and the iconic checkers pattern.
I pull inspiration from my own surf travels: remote Baja, Byron Bay, to my own backyard of Ocean Beach, San Diego. The Feeling of Water celebrates beauty in imperfection and the soulful rebellion at the heart of surf culture.
I source only the highest quality, professional artist grade materials designed to stand the test of time.
By collecting my art, you’re also supporting a network of small businesses and independent artisans that keep the local creative ecosystem thriving, including custom canvas stretchers, print shops, photographers, and framers.
The result is beautiful, long lasting artwork to be enjoyed for years to come.
My work is deeply rooted in the rhythm of the ocean and the quiet power of ancient trees.
My art honors my deep relationship to surf, beach culture, and mystical trees, evoking movement and stillness, energy and groundedness.
Purchasing an original painting is a big decision! That's why you are always welcome to schedule a private showing of any piece at my studio located at Art on 30th in North Park, San Diego.
Experience the movement, scale, vibrance, and energy of the work in person to confirm it works well in your space.
